With the anchor tenant in place, this building which formerly housed The New Britain Herald, will be converted into a state-of-the art medical facility. Mayor Erin Stewart said the imminent occupancy of the building is “great news” and indicates what developers see in the potential of downtown renewal efforts. Revitalizing the old Herald property has been a key piece for years, according to Stewart.
